Tamworth Recycling Plant

The Tamworth Recycling Plant processes more than 45 tonnes of recyling from the Tamworth region every day.
Operated by Tamworth Regional Council and Challenge Community Services, the plant employs 39 staff including 32 clients of Challenge.
These employees sort and separate the contents of the recycling bins of the local community into plastic, glass, cardboard and paper which are then on-sold to make recycled products.
